The Ombudsman Contact

April Longley, Director of Institutional Compliance, is the Ombudsman contact for Columbia College. The Ombudsman will coordinate investigations with appropriate parties related to college matters such as academic or non-academic, employment, facilities, financial aid, etc. For such matters, please email or call (573) 875-7792.

Constitution day

Columbia College celebrates Constitution Day each year. This day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787, “recognizing all who, are born in the U.S. or by naturalization, have become citizens." Educational institutions receiving federal funds are required by law to hold an educational program on the U.S. Constitution for Constitution Day.
